Consultation provides professional guidance for:
- curriculum suggestions, teaching strategies, the learning environment, at-home activities, modifications to curriculum, etc.

- Parents may also connect the Educational Support Provider (ESP) with therapists and others for collaborative planning and support.

- Quarterly/Annual progress reports can include:
- - areas of development (subjects), grades, student progress, attendance & organized samples of school work.
- Benefits of thorough record keeping include:
- - data for other service providers such as occupational and speech therapy, and ABA, - information for future schools the student may attend
- - prepares student for end-of-year evaluation and for potential state audits

The Educational Support Provider can administer a variety of assessments to determine student knowledge or skill level.
- Some forms of assessment include:
- - observation, exam, portfolio review, project, progress report, & interview/discussion
- The ESP can either administer or recommend an end-of-year evaluation process that will meet state requirements for moving on to the next grade-level.

Personalized learning activities and curriculum are based on the individual goals of each student and family.
